Can't we all just sit down, talk this out, and at the end of it just agree to have contempt for all humankind? That's where I am now anyway. I was hoping to see more women rise the ranks in politics in my life. Now it is happening but too many of them are just as bad as the men they keep replacing. Unbridaled ambition is what needs to be curbed in our society. It breeds hatred, agression, and violence. All it does it lead to more tribalism and less compromise no matter the sex of the "alpha." Be those tribes patriarcharchial or matriarchial in nature, seems to make little difference when sheep are willing to be lead by blood thisrty wolves looking to score more folowers at any cost. Nevertheless, the likes of AOC and the rest of "the squad" as well as the governor of my home state of MI, Gretchen Whitmer, all give me some hope. The likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene and frankly any conservative woman in politics are all just proof there is still too much testosterone in the room even if there is not a man in sight.
