A while back, I wrote this . . .
Much of it still rings true. Please read it when you can but the gist of it is pretty much in the title. In any group, there seems to be one-third that is noisy, obnoxious, and just squeaky wheel enough to make the other two thrids suffer the rabid demands of this one-third.
This is Trump and his MAGAts.
Most Republicans were not MAGAts before Trump. They were content with just heel-dragging on progress and making sure taxes never got raised on anything. They never really committed to full-on fascism. These republicans still exist but they are now forced to vote for MAGAts as that is who keeps winning primaries.
