I’m still exploring writing on another platform but I just really like Medium.

I like reading it very much too. Why? Because before I even start, Medium tells me how long I need to commit my attention.

Sure, I could hang on to your every word for more than five minutes but seriously why should I? Especially if it's commentary stuff. I might if it's something seriously technical but then again, probably not.

Before you go off to prove me a hypocrite, I know I’ve got more than a few articles longer than five minutes. It happens but I try to keep it short. I edit until it's as short as can be and still say something important or useful.
