It’s official. The Party is over, America.

It's funny what you learn just by doing basic research about things you once assumed. All this time I thought the “party store” was a universally American thing. Maybe it is but it seems that it might just be more of a my MI thing? Interesting.
Anyway. If you are in a state that does not have a “party store” get used to maybe not having a Party City anymore either. They declared chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January. Now they are closing stores all over the country.
America, this is probably a good thing.
I remember years ago thinking “What the fuck is everyone partying for that we need “party stores” in the first place?”
