My unpopular opinion: The West should take Russia now.
The time will never be better for The People to end these pissant autocrats forever.
Russia is weak. They have been for a long time. This fiasco with Ukraine proves it.
The West has failed miserably in our intelligence gathering and instead actually listened to Russian propaganda. This is not the first time either. We believed that they had the best hackers, the best conventional weapons, and the strongest soldiers. During the cold war, we believed the same fiction and almost bankrupted ourselves instead of Russia.
Nope.
It has all been lies.
I’m sick of America spending so much blood and treasure preparing so expensively and grossly inefficiently against clearly undeserving enemies.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the same for China. Without Russia, who is China’s ally? No one of any strategic concern. If the west attempts to take Moscow, China will just sit it out.
I’d bet my life on it. If we did I know I would be.
