Ritten Off Day 3. The Covid stupidity continues.
And so does the cherry-picking of “information.”
The other day I was talking to a pastor I know. I don’t know many. His daughter got Covid. None of them in his branch of the fam tree have gotten vaccinated. Looks like she’ll be ok. She’s young and healthy so odds are she probably will be.
Still no excuse for not getting vaxed.
Anyway, he goes on to tell me that some guy in his church also got Covid a while back and it totally kicked his ass. The pastor then said the guy was overweight and out of shape. Covid was a “wake-up call” for the guy to start taking better care of himself.
“Good idea,” I think I said.
I should also probably say that this pastor is about to officially be part of my family too. My GF and I are now engaged. The pastor is her brother-in-law. He’s married to my GF’s sister.
We have what you’d call a “mixed” family politically and educationally speaking.
I love her family. They are really a good bunch of people. Just don’t talk about politics or anything reasonable regarding health and religion with them if you want to maintain the status quo.
