Make America’s head explode again.
I don’t even know where to start. Let’s start by saying just how loathsome and ridiculous both Alex Jones and Joe Rogan have become. They have probably killed thousands with their disinformation and cries for “liberty” and “freedom” while throwing common sense completely onto the edit room floor.
Podcasters. Jesus fucking christ.
Ya know, I used to work in public access cable. No, not PBS where Carl Segan used to live, public access. The home of Wayne and Garth. Idiots really, to a greater or lesser degree, myself included. I helped with several really dumb comedy shows back then. It was great to have more fun and a goofy sense of humor. Those days are over. Now it's all about how deep can I cut someone's jugular and still get a laugh. My chances of regaining a speck of innocence about anything and everything is gone. I do miss it. It saddens me that kids today can barely even consider having that kind of life ever.
Public access cable still exists here and there but the glory days have long since passed. It was a great experience being a part of it. It was my first media job.
