Ritten Off Day 5. Happy Thanksgiving?
I’m thankful for more that isn’t than that is.
Another American Thanksgiving day is here. I for one will be trying my best to enjoy the gluttony frankly. There are probably only a few years left in America to be thankful for having too much always available.
Here are a few things I am thankful for today.
Trump is still not POTUS.
My parents and family I care about are not dead.
I’m glad we now live so far away from the nearest city we barely even see the glow of it at night.
We have not even met our neighbors officially yet and most seem to be fine with that too. We may be surrounded by Trumpers out here but if there is one thing I like about rural conservatives it's this; they know where property lines begin and know how to stay on their side of them.
We are on a clearer path to self-sufficiency now that we have more land and space to do the things we want to do.
The night skies are scary dark but super clear out here. Looking up sometimes feels like the whole universe might crash down on you. Weird, man.
I glad that the entire night sky is not filled with “Tesla” advertising.
