Ritten Off Day 7. The “Holidays” need to be moved to June.

Dead relatives at Christmas sucks.

Fuck this.

Like most American families fractured by capitalism and the quest for “work,” we are heading out to see the rest of the family today for Thanksgiving. It's only a 2-hour drive normally but this is Michigan. Snow is forecast for today and that means it's all a crapshoot.

This is bullshit.

“Holliday travel” was never meant to be like this. Why? Because capitalism destroyed everyone’s family.

“What the fuck are you talking about today, SH?” you say?

I mean when all these dumb holidays were invented people lived closer to home. Now we’re all over the place because we have to fend for ourselves. We could not make a life near our families to pay the bills. We had to move to find a fucking job as “the family business” is still dying a slow death from corporatism.

To survive in America means moving away from everyone and everything we loved growing up. This and the automobile is what now makes “The Holidays” one of the most stupid and deadliest traditions in America.

Most of this country gets bad weather this time of year and I’m sick of having to get on the slick and dangerous roads to see everyone.
