Snowpocalypse Day 4, 2022.
The cat is alive.
12:40 pm somewhere south of Lansing, MI.
As of about an hour ago, it was still snowing a bit but has now stopped. I used the snow blower again. My wife made it into town to go grocery shopping. She said the roads could be better but slow driving makes them passable.
We are planning to go to her mom’s today soon. It will be nice to get out of the house for a bit really. Tomorrow we see my parents on the MI west coast. It's about a 2-hour drive usually.
We’re hoping it's going to be mostly clear by tomorrow. No more snow is expected. The road plows should all be done especially the highways.
So, an update on the “barn cat” we’ve unexpectedly acquired. He made it through the bitter cold, wind, and snow.
Like I recently said, he just showed up on one of my security cams a couple of days ago. We were not feeding him but today is day two that we are. We are not letting him in the house but we do plan to make him a better little house now.
It was so good to see that he made it! We already have a cat so just letting him in is not an option. Apparently, it's not legal to anyway? So says my wife’s Facebook animal control page. You can post a pic but you have to wait to see if it's already owned by someone. Fine with me at this…
