The Virus day 13, Dimondale, Michigan
All well. The random projects continue. The pic today is of me improvising a way to make our bedroom door stay closed at night. The spring is a pipe bender that I almost never use. Sure, I could have gone out and got “just the thing” but going out is just not a good idea. We are going to stay in iso as long as we can. It took a spring on each of the 3 hinges to get the job done. It works! The tricky part was making it just strong enough to close but not too strong for kitty to push or pull open. The cat always likes to come in so we leave the door cracked. It was not a big deal when we had carpet but now with the hardwood floor, the door swings wide open when he comes in at night. We have grow lights on in the rest of the house for spring starts so it's pretty annoying when the light comes in the dark bedroom.
