All well. It was cold and rainy yesterday. Barely felt like doing much. Transplanted some plants. Watched TV. A pretty dull day for us all mostly. Laundry and other housework. It's supposed to be nicer today so I’ll probably get outside.

Just read about building up our immune systems. Vitamin C is not being taken seriously enough as an antiviral it seems. I looked around and found that dandelion leaves have it. I just picked some before it gets too bright out. They still taste a bit bitter on their own. Need to figure that out.

We have spinach on the way through so hopefully that will do. We’re going to add vitamin C to our upcoming Kroger order too.

Michigan schools are about to attempt to go fully online for the rest of the school year. Brooke is a high school ceramics teacher in Holt, MI. The Governor has given all districts until near the end of the month to figure it all out. Without using clay for ceramics, it's going to be 8 weeks of “art appreciation” it looks like. Maybe they can figure out how to get the clay to kids but it may not be worth the risk now.

Her class is not considered part of the vocational system but it should be. All art should be. There is a real economic need for artists and creatives of all kinds. I think we are all seeing this more and more now stuck in our homes. There is more to life than just waking up, working, shopping, sleeping, and eventually dying. Art fills all the spaces in between and makes life tolerable. Without it, we’re all just a bunch of flesh machines on standby waiting for orders. That’s not human life. That’s the life of an ant or bee. Art is human life.
