Standard equipment for the modern age.

One year. I just read a headline stating that this period in history will go down as the toughest stretch in many American lives. “Hellish” as CNN describes it. It was not just America of course, the entire world was turned upside down.

But, this is my blog. For the most part, I felt great. I never got sick nor did anyone I know who was smart enough to follow good advice. There are many aspects of this time I hope to see continue.

Science won and is still winning. You can’t swing an oxygen tank now without hitting stories of regretful dipshits now long hauling COVID. Even in my own circle, there are those that caught it for no other reason than they were too religious to see Jesus was killing them.

Fortunately for them, at least in my circles, they “miraculously” survived. Short of more verses of the Bible and Trump propaganda, they seem to have learned nothing else though. They still thank god for their bad behavior somehow saving them.

Somehow, I lost no one I love. Due to luck or superior intelligence, I’m glad for that. Nevertheless, I will never forgive those who put people close to us in danger so their selfish lives could continue as if nothing was happening.

As if Jesus was going to save them from the “libtards stealing our freedom.” “Freedom” to get drunk in bars…
