The Virus day 7, Dimondale, Michigan
All well. No virus in the house. The first day of spring came and went unnoticed but our Geranium plants seem to have remembered. You can see some flower buds upper left in the pic. It's still been too cold to garden but if it gets near 50 today I’m planting onions. We wanted to do some garlic but may not now unless we risk going out into the world to get it. We do have groceries to pick up today around noon. Hopefully, we’ll get all we ordered. But we don’t intend to get out of the car. Kroger will put it all in the car for you. The less contact the better now. Speaking of feeling normal, I bought some stuff online yesterday. A bidet attachment, $29, for one of our toilets and an infrared laser thermometer, $27. April 6 for the Bidet. No word on thermometer delivery date yet. It was a lot less tense around the house yesterday. I hope we can all just continue to flow through this like a bunch of little Fonzies, myself mostly. Brooke and I found some time to spend together. Gabriel has been worried that when he sleeps he gets FOMO lately, but Brooke and he seem to be feeling their way through it. He has autism probably on the scale near Asperger’s. I’ve never been properly diagnosed but it sounds a lot like me too, although G is much more coordinated than I remember being. Kids are hard enough for me generally much less being around a younger version of myself. He’s at an age where advice is never listened…
