True but at what point does it become diminishing returns? Too many value judgements based purely on infinite growth are still the problem. Value for who? Will that value still hold when a liveable piece of the biosphere is the only thing money can buy? Civilization needs to put on the brakes just short of basic survival or at least move to a static economic model or there will be nothing left worth creating. Creation assumes the consumption of something. We are not gods. There is no free lunch. The more created the more consumed. We have yet to make anything more than we started with. Money does not count as it now has no value other then the illusion of scarcity as people like Bezos only take and never get taxed. His pile and power is the only thing he makes. He offers no value to the future whatsoever.
