Elon Musk. Fuck this guy. Seriously and in the most metaphorical ways possible.
The King of Libertarianism now owns the loudest social medial platform in the world, Twitter.
The first thing he did was fire the CEO and a slew of other top management. The next thing he did was Tweet “the bird is freed.” By “freed” we should all assume mean “the floodgates are reopened.”
Just in time for the misinformation to peak before a major US election, our midterms.
He’s eluded to it before but today he’ll come through on it. He’ll give Trump and all his lying minions carte blanche access to the world stage again.
This won’t go well.
We all know it but Musk, being a rich, very white, and far out-of-touch libertarian, he’ll hang on to his “ideals” even if it ends democracy globally.
It won’t go well for struggling democracies around the world now. The cacophony of lies drowning out the truth will now become exponentially louder.
Musk gives zero shits.
