vote for peace

I felt fine voting for a third party in 2016. It made no difference except for the most important thing; it expressed the very important “one against” all of this shit. The electoral college makes individual votes nearly worthless in the ocean of BS that has become our “process.” If it’s Biden after the primaries I may go Libertarian again. The ideal is something I believe in but in practice, it can end up a big bag of Koch, I know. The GOP was never meant to become the shit show it has become now either. The Dems constantly teeter on getting shit done and worthless wuss bags. I start with the ideal and work from that point in my voting. That’s all any of us as individuals should do. Making a “strategy” is for campaign managers. It’s completely pointless to apply some sort of game theory as an individual voter. This is not a game you can win. You are a drop in the ocean. Not even a kick-ass radioactive one near Japan either. Just a pointless tiny blob of pure H2O looking for something to glob onto in hopes that it makes yourself more interesting. You as an individual win nothing when you go against your core principals. In fact, I’d argue it’s now proven that we all LOSE when we keep accepting “lesser evils” and expect any “greater good” to come of it.
